The Village Hall was built in the late nineteenth century as the Church reading room and became the Village Hall in 1976.
It served as the village post office for a period subsequent to becoming the village hall.
During early 2025 the hall underwent a renovation project, repairing the fabric of the building, improving accessibility and providing a modern kitchen and heating. We are very grateful to grants from Magna Park and the Parish Council and the many individuals who donated to the fundraising to allow us to complete the project.
A small team of volunteers has revitalised the use of the hall, with coffee mornings on the first Friday of the month and regular community events (see upcoming events for the hall diary).
We very much want the hall to be a key part of the community and are pleased to offer it for hire to increase it's use and also fund the upkeep of the facility.
